Christmas competition 2017.

Sky and I entered a competition run by a youtuber called SmallishBeans (Joel). It is a minecraft competition aswell, You will need minecraft on PC to enter. if you come 6th to 10th place you get 50$ store credits. Which means you can use that to buy anything from the BeanBlockz store. (The competition is held on beanblockz.) If you come 5th i might of forgotten what you get but. If you come 3rd you get a keyboard. Name forgotten. If you get 2nd you get a headset. And if you get first... You get a FREE Ipad mini 4! Thatś our goal. (By the way i forgot what you get if you get fourth.) Me and Sky are going to TRY and share the prize. The rules are: You must have an original idea, It must be a christmas theme build, You have to build on the christmas comp server, Must be appropriate and also the plot owner is the one who recieves the prize, Joel will not be giving out 5 ipad minis because friends helped. Alisha's was black, Quinn's was baby blue, Elanor's was yellow, Sebastian's was red, Jassmire's was pink. What was happening. And where are they going?? Tom thought to himself "Okay, Great... Just great." Tom paced back and forwards. "Now i need a plan, Which way was Quinn talk about? Gahh, I need to learn how to listen. I wish they were here 😭." Tom turned to his left. Opposite side of which Quinn decided. Tom encountered the slim man..

How to make...

A BOYSENBERRY TART! Recipe from H.E.S cook book (page 65)
You will need...

-2 cups of self raising flour
-1 cup of sugar
-100g butter, chopped
-2 eggs
-1/2 cups of frozen or fresh boysenberries
-1 Tbsp icing sugar

Heat oven to 180*C
Place self-raising flour, sugar and butter into food precessor
Run the machine until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs (Looks like breadcrumbs)
Add the eggs and pulse to combine
Press 2/3 of the dough into a greased and lined 23-25sm cake or pie tin
spread the boysenberries over this and crumble the rest of the mixture over the top.

Bake 35 - 40 minutes
Dust with icing sugar before serving!!!

How to make...

A BANANA SPLIT!!! This is my personal recipe so all rights to me :)

You will need...

-A banana

-Vanilla ice-cream

-Chocolate syrup (Melted chocolate)

-Cherries (Optional)

Peel a banana

Make a slit on the inside of the banana

Fill the slit with ice-cream

Add chocolate syrup

Add a cherry on top!

Alisha flew in the air with the strange figure behind her. her eyes blooming with black tears. By a blink of an eye the thin man fled. Elanor and Sebastian were gone... Quinn, Jassmire and Tom rushed, Leaving poor traumatized Alisha. "Tom, Let's take a turn over here. It looks trusty." Quinn said "I think." She mumbled. Elanor mumbled something, then louder suddenly she bursted "SLEEP TIGHT." with a burst of tears. And off she goes.

How to make...

ICE-BLOCK WITH DIP!

yes, yes it sounds weird but, trust me 😎

So what you will need:

- Milk

- Yogurt

- 2 strawberries

- 2 kiwifruits

- 1 banana

- Fruit juice

First freeze the fruit juice for 3 hours.

Smash up the PEELED banana, strawberries and PEELED kiwifruit.

Mix until thick.

Mix 1/2 a cup of milk with 2 teaspoons of greek yogurt.

Add milk mixture with fruit smash.

Cover with cling wrap and let it cool. If it dries up heat it up for 10 seconds and then let it cool.

Once your ice blocks are ready, uncover the dip and dip in your ice-block.

Food tech - Smoothie reflection

Today, Wednesday 20th of November 2017. We did food technology. It was our first time making something! And yes, we made smoothies. Its not really a food but do I care??? No.

The first smoothie Sky and I had had:
Spinach, Yogurt, banana, strawberry and  vanilla essence.

It was, Different. In a good way, it tasted alright. It had a tangy swing and a wonderful smell. If you are not a fan of banana this is the the smoothie for you.

The second smoothie was. Horrible. (No offense Garth but, It doesn't work)

Spinach, Kiwifruit, 1 single lonely strawberry, 2 slice of banana, Yogurt and Milk. Sounds nice? It is quite tangy but um, after taste just... no. Garth please, Get the spinach out of this town.

Alisha Wiped her eyes as she ran to the garden. Following behind her was Sebastian and Elanor. "ALISHA STOP!" Yelled Sebastian gasping for air. "ALISHA TELL US WHAT IS WRONG!"  Squeeled Elanor crashing to the ground. Alisha stopped and turned. She pushed Sebastian by the forhead causing him to fall butt first. Alisha opened her mouth without the words to say, She looked possesed. Tom, Jassmire and Quinn chased behind her. As the stand in position all jaws dropped.

Horse.

I heard Analise say horse and so i decided to make this story about a horse.

Jamiea Gonzila Shantera Congshurutu Chang-chang is a horse who lives canada. She has 4 elbows, 69 eyes, 36 legs, 14 boyfriends, 19 girlfriends, 1 BFF, 2 friends, 6 Moms, 1 dad, 401 brothers, 599 sisters and 10,000 aunties and uncles. She has such a small family. Recently Jamiea Gonzila Shantera Congshurutu Chang-chang started university in Hamilton, New zealand. She went for one day, Then she moved to Canada the next day because she got bullied. Wonder why.

What makes a quality story?

As you may or may not know I want to be a  author. So i'm trying to learn what makes a quality story? So here is what i have learnt:

You must set the scene! it's important to let your audience know where your character is.
Vocabulary (Word choice) Instead of saying "I went to the park" say what the park is named, how you got there! Who you went with!! Here is my example "On the weekend (11th of november) i went to caudlands park with my best friend Anahera, We went in her mother's car." That's more interesting right? Also make sure it is spelt right. AND GRAMMAR! Grammar is a definite yes to a perfect story! Imagine reading a story like this: "I went to park with weekendeds." Like seriously. Thinking about it, Have interesting sentence starters like "WOOSH, Through the night sky soared Mr. Ravioli" And also think about your audience, Are they going to like abriefiations, Humor, Romance what do they like?

Ok so i sort of left you on a cliff hanger i don't really know but yeah, I learned a whole bunch this year and I hope you have aswell, Bye!

Tree weaving reflection!

In 2 weeks my school is having a art exhibition. An outdoor one to be exact 😉 And i´m making a tree weave. It is really simple and i love it so far! the weaving is quite annoying though. because the wool keeps notting 😒😐 Oh well, and also im  not proud of my color choice. so next time im changing it (if there is a next time) Any who i'm am as proud as ever.

Random facts about sugar.

Recently we have been doing something called Food Technology. We were asked to chose a food/drink/spice to research on. Analise and I chose... SUGAR! The spice that makes all our favourite lollies. But what about it? Did you know....

White sugar is Processed. Brown sugar is raw,
Sugar is used for cooking, baking and art all over the world.
Sugar is grown on the leaves and steam of Sugarcane.

Maths - What i learnt this term.

Today is the last day of school!! I am so excited!  But before i just shut down to sleep mode i will tell you what i have learnt in these past 10 weeks.  First i remember doing mesurement. We learnt about 1 centimetre square and it says "Centi" because its french for 100. Also fractions, I did those recently 😆 The way i learnt was simple. Say i need 2/5 of 25. is 10. Why? Because 1/5 of 25 is 5 so 5 x 2 = 10! and answer solved!

Polar is a succseful youtuber with everything she needs. But self confidence. She doesn't want to tell her friends because she thinks she will be un exepted.



Adam, A 14 year old boy with the best family ever! Only, If they weren't undercover. Adam is a spy as long with his sisters Paige and Lauren. Adam is the best trained out of all 3. But Adam does not want to be a spy. And definetly with his new mission.


Alexandra, A transgender  person, Bullied everyday for being a load. She lives in a labrotory and is a mad scientist. Currently she is stressing about a love potion.

The reason it is 0 is because it is saying 0 groups of 3

The reason is because it is saying one group of 3. Lets do harder!!!

How? Because 3 x 10 = 30 take away 3 from 30!

3 x 6 = 18
The reason is because 6 + 6 is 12 add 6 and it is 18!

Twilight wish PT.2

Jupiter whispered too Dylan ``Dylan, We should run, Explore, Find a new tribe. Have peace." Dylan nodded and replied in a whisper ``I agree, these PEASANTS won't stopped cracking." they nodded at each other and slammed the door shut. ``Lets plan" Jupiter said in a flash way. Dylan nodded. After hours of planning the escape, Jupiter decided they tell their friends Flare Wishman and Jordan Ross. They both agree Dylan went, so he did. Dylan sprinted of to the Omega cage. It was such a coincidence both Flare & Jordan were there.  Dylan told them everything as Jupiter packs their stuff.  And off they go into the sun lit day...

Reflection for my art!

I am really enjoying this! I am really proud... but i want to change a few things. First i really want to make the title bigger. It is really small and I even forgot where it was for a bit. So next time I would make it bigger. Number 2. I think I would not use so much detail. And also the back i regret traceing my fingers across the writing but it is still easy to see.

Octopus vs Shark

Octopus information.

The scientific name for a Octopus is quite strange. In fact it is quite crazy in my opion. It is called a Octopus (Oc-to-po-da.) There life span is very short compered to other fish,they can die at 3-5 years old. Octopus's come in 300 different species,these are some examples of different octopus's:

Blue-ringed Octopus      Dumbo                                      Octopus has different things to eat in the
Cirrian                            Normal Octopus                        ocean, but they only eat a few of them.
Argonaut                        Blanket                                      They eat small crabs,snails and fish!!!


Their are 3 ways to pronounce multiple octopi. 1. Octopuses 2. Octopoda 3. Octopi (My favorite)

Octopi are very smart! They can open jars of lids, camoflage and even kill! These intentelligent creatures are amazing!

Sleep Tight Pt.2 ~ Harlynn and Analise

Alisha opened the book studdering. She grabbed a writing quill and started spelling. Elanor was curious. She got out of bed and tried looking over her shoulder. Alisha SLAMMED the book closed, It snapped the quill into un-equal pieces. Alisha threw the book off her bed. She turned to see Elanor brushing her hair. Elanor thinks that Alisha is un-stable. The next morning Alisha was quiet... She hadn't said a thing since 6:34 A.M. It is now 8:21. Elanor Sebastion, Tom, Jassmire, Quinn and Elanor were shocked to see Alisha in such horror. Tom had enough and walk to her. He just had to snap "ALISHA! You have been like this all MORNING! Snap out of it already, tell us what is wrong!" 'SLOW YOUR ROLL TOM!" Exclaimed Sebastion. "But look at the state of this women!!!" Tom screeched. "M-m-man... Room... Message... Book..." Alisha mumbled staring off too space. "Help me find the man" Alishas eyes snapped closed as she teared up.

But the next page that she was up to had a hidden message, The way she spotted it was by the torch she used to see. It said... Sleep tight? Alisha shook ``Why! What if i don't sleep! Will i die? Will i get kidnapped? Please what did I do!" Alisha felt her eyes water, She didn't wanna move. She was as still as a iguana eyeing down its feast. But insted of her feast... It was a monster... Or a man... What was it....

Pop - Up Library trip!

On the 8th of august 2017 at around 10 o'clock Room 12 (My classroom) went outside to the gates to enter the bus. My dad came! But he was late, like always. (Sorry dad) I remember my bestie Analises mum came! Also my bffls step dad came! A man called Joe Harawira sang us a waiata about numbers then told us 2 stories, The 2nd was my favourite. the 1st one was called ``Rata and the tree" and the 2nd was called ``Maui and the fire." The reason I do not like the the first one as much is because i heard it already so it wasn't as interesting. I really loved the whole trip though!

Cross Country Paragraphs.

Cross Country

Cross country is in week 6. We have been training for it all term (2 weeks.) It is week 3 so we have 3 more weeks to train. For training we do relays, beep tests, but one of the more important parts of our training is working on our technique.

Our technique is very helpful when we run. We use capital L arms. That means our arms don’t cross our core ( Our body. ) We run smoothly, by that I mean we don’t stomp our feet because then all our energy goes into the ground. Another of the most important things we need is good pace. If I sprint at first we will slow down in a fast period of time which means I will slow down in the first lap. That isn’t good pace. A great pace is to have a steady pace or jog at first then near the end we can run (faster, or sprint) to end it. That is great pace!

All though training is tiring, I´m excited to run for cross country.

Fiction Story ~ Moonlight Shadows ~ Welcome to the characters

Winter - Ash... A typical teenage girl by the age of 17, She has two friends... The closet friends she will ever have in a life time. Their names are Tigher and Kamryn, But we will get into them later. Winter  - ash perfers to be called "Shadow" or "Winter". She is quite shy but loves music aswell as her besties. She plays ukulele in her spare time, Aswell as singing and writing stories! Oh and a little secret... She is a werewolf... SHHHH don't tell a speck! It is her biggest secret only Tigher and Kamryn know. Her favourite colour is Black but it isn't really a colour so she says her favourite is
maroon (A really dark red) 

Hmmm well that's done lets talk about... Let's see... The best friends or the vill- OOPS i didn't just... That's ok... Uhh lets talk about Tigher.

Tigher is a 16 and a half year old, a lovely girl she is! She always has a way to make us two laugh! She always turns peoples frowns upside down! She is not shy at all! She loves to sing, music runs in her family. She not only sings but can play the drums! Oh a little secret... Well maybe two actually. 1: she is a Neko (Neko = cat human) 2: She is the princess of Realers valley (The Neko Kingdom), Kamryn and Winter don't know... SHHHH dont tell them >:( 

 Now, Kamryn, Kamryn is like Winter basically, She is 17 aswell, She plays the keyboard/piano. She has a passion for singing! It is her big dream!!!

The Billionaires Curse Book Report

The billionaires curse is an awesome book. It is a long chapter fiction book. It based on 3 kids named: Sam Valentine (Older twin) Ruby Valentine (Younger twin) And the main character Gerald (Lastname not confirmed) It is about Geralds aunt Geraldine, She was recently MURDERED and before that she gave away her BILLIONS of dollars, Gerald inherited it all. Gerald is now on a journey with Sam and Ruby too find who murdered Geraldine and find the missing diamond!

This term (Term 3) my school. We are making clay faces. We saw images of clay faces so we could get inspiration. We are using, Old utensils, Clay, Toothpicks, Chopsticks and Paint. After we cook the clay at Peachgrove. I decided to do a dog face, Danni - Leigh is doing a cat face to. Here is a image.

Twilight wish PT.1

Dylan, the Male Alpha of the tribe Twilight-Wish. Jupiter, the Female Alpha of the tribe. Flare, The A.I.T (Alpha in training) female and and Jordan the Omega. The fight, It started in 1789... All was peace back then... Until... The god.... she demanded war... She had enough of these peasent wolves.... they fought... they fell... for us... She is gone now... Jupiter is now treated like the god... but isn't but who is? All the plain wolves cry each day ``Where is our fellow god! Is it Jupiter or not!! We must know!?!" They do this non stop. Jupiter and Dylan yelled ``We have not yet discovered our god! You shall rest your cries and leave us in peace!" everyday... It never works...

Sleep Tight Pt.1 ~ Harlynn and Analise

In a land called Mushville, Two warriors named Elanor and Alisha. These two were sisters, Real bad sisters. Elanor was shy and Alisha was brave Elanor loved animals and Alisha loved movies.  Alisha also LOVED knights / warriors, And intensness, So she loved fighting her younger sisters and brothers. And the brothers names were Sebastian and Tom, The sisters names were, Elanor, Jassmire and Quinn. Jassmire was adopted. The other 5 were not. One night Quinn awoken to a creek. She jumped out of bed and ran to Alisha's and Elanor's room. She shoke in fear and yelled ``Ali! Ela! They are coming!" Alisha and Elanor awoken. ``Who is? What stupid excuse do you have to wake us up!?" Moaned Alisha. ``Come on come on! Its not fake!" Cried Quinn ``Please come see!". Tom and Sebastian had enouth of listening to the racket and decided to come see whats going on. ``What is going on! We are trying to sleep! Alisha, Tom and I have Karate tomorrow!" Yelled Sebastian in a tired groan. ``Sorry brother, I just heard the  boog-" Tom interupted Quinn. ``Enouth nonsence off to bed now. Shoo" Quinn slunched her back and ran back to her room. Alisha lay back down and grabbed a book. It had a odd hand print. It didn't  look like Alisha's...

Analise: I liked the positive legacy scene were they fighted to keep their school save. I think if someone tried to get rid of our school i would try and stand up for it.😋

Harlynn: I liked the scene were the teacher and 3 kids went into a time machine and looked at the future. It scared me a bit that human’s might be extinct. I really hope that this isn’t actually true.😍

Multiplication Maths

I am learning multiplication and division at maths time. I play flash cards and bingo games to help me. Here are some multiplications facts i've learned.

9 x 9 = 81

How i worked it out:
Well 9 x 10 = 90 so do 90 - 9 = 81! TAA DAA

7 x 4 = 28

How i worked it out:
I sounds easy but try getting it in your head. Hoe i did it is... In maths, After i finish my work i do flash cards with myself and do my 7's times table. Most;y i get 7 x 4. So thats how i locked it in my head.

A little bit of courage

Everyone is able to be Cyber-Bullied. I want to stop that. I wanna put some courage and faith in you. I know life is tough -3-  And many many many wanna end their life, Not me, Please don't do that. When people do that they don't think about others, Including  family and friends. Remember, People are here for you. You can always rely on family and friends. Remember people love you how you are and stay who you are <3 Be happy on how you are and you don't need to change yourself because one person doesn't appreciate you. Stay who you are, Be happy with yourself. Be awesome and live life your way.

Once in a town called Humpleberry lived two sisters, The sister's names were Jasmire and Alisha. Those  two were awoken on the 21st of may in 3018 by creek coming from the stairs. Alisha JUMPED out of bed and went to Jasmire's bed. Alisha woke up Jasmire while calling ``Jass, Jass! They are coming for us!" Obviously Jasmire was confused so she replied ``Who are? Mum and dad? Come on Alisha don't be silly its super late now go to sleep." Alisha cried and sulked but suddenly a voice, A rather mysterious voice whispered ``Little little girl, Wanna have a play?" Alisha shook in fear and shouted ``NO! I will stay safe! Me and Jas-" Alisha paused. The voice came into a man. The man has terrifying big eyes, A nose the size of a carrot, A long..... Slick.... Black tuxedo. Alisha cried for Jasmire ``JASS JASS HELP" There was no reply. Alisha looked back to see nothing but her last words. ``Jass? Jass?? JASS!??!? PLease no... Where are you..." Alisha turned back in FURY. Alisha yelled at the man ``I MAY BE ONLY 5 YEARS OLD BUT I HAVE MAGIC" A sudden breeze apeared, It changed to a stringer wind, It became bigger and stronger by the minute, It suddenly turns into a storm. While this happens Alisha seems to be rising into the air!?!?!. Alisha's rage blast forward towards the man. With a blink of an eye everything seemed normal... BUt the weird tuxedo on the ground. Two days ago me and my thinking partners had to write a six sentenced story. We decided to base it on Spongebob.

 Here it is :D Once upon a time … Spongebob was an absorbent yellow sponge.

 Spongebob lived in a pineapple under the sea.

He was a REALLY good fry cooker at the Krusty Krab.

Unfortunately… he got fired.

 He was very sad and he missed his golden spatula, he wondered why he was fired. So he got a job at KFC.

3 Facts about New Zealand.

1. The Kea, A bird native to NZ, is known for pulling windscreen wipers off cars and eating the stripes of rubber from the windows :O.

2. The longest name in the world is in NZ and its called Taumatawhakatangihangakoauaotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu, a hill in Hawkes Bay.

3. No part of NZ is more than 128km (79 miles) away from the sea
